PostSubject: Concerns   Tue Nov 25, 2008 7:48 am

I for the first time tonight, played in your building. I had high hopes, but my hopes were shortly crushed. I would like too mention my concerns and hope someone can adress them ...

your tournment was scheduled too start at 7 and did not start until 7:30. I hope this is not normal. Customers who show up on at the appropiate time to play, should not be forced too wait ..

The volunteer dealers for this tournament were playing in the same game as they were dealing in. this does not protect the integrity of the game, as the dealer has influence and the ability too make decesions that could be beneficial too them ..

People on cell phones, including dealers while at the table. again this does not make me feel like anyone is doing anything too protect the game from cheats, or colusion ..

In a few instances the staff, who are susposed to be te ones running the game, keeping the game going smoothly and who know the rules, seemed too be lacking some rule knoledge, and in some cases were very aggressive too customers ...

I would like too make sure there is "english only" spoken at the table, as without this rule colusion, and cheating is much easier ..

I understand that most people who are "staff" there are all volunteer, but very simply, we "The Customers" are being charged 5 $ too wlak in and play and 2 - 4 $ and hour too sit in a chair. I dont believe that simple rules that protect the game and my money from cheats as well as my physical person for verbal and possibly physical attacks is too much too ask. When you give money to someone for something you have some expectation. Please give me a reason too come back to your business and continue recommending people too attend as well

Ryan

PostSubject: what?????   Sat Nov 29, 2008 11:22 pm

sir-

I have played here sense the opening and your comments are quite frankly are insulting. First of all if you think any cheating is going on you need to say something either to the dealer or to Will. This is not a casino this is a home style game the dealers play here get over it. As far as costs go if you can't afford it these games are to big for you, go play online for a buck or two.

"First of all if you think any cheating is going on you need to say something either to the dealer or to Will"

What if the dealer is the one who is "Cheating" by not knowing or following the rules ?? Who is this "will" person, I could not even tell who worked there or who was just A volunteer

"This is not a casino this is a home style game the dealers play here"

I have never been charged 5 dollars too wlak in the door too play in A "Home Style Game" or A seat rental fee to play in A "Home Style Game". When you pay for something even a small fee you have an expectation, I expected more maybe unfairly. In A normal "Home Style Game" the deal gets passed around the table.

"As far as costs go if you can't afford it these games are to big for you, go play online for a buck or two"

I have no issue with the cost. the fees are fine, if you drage one pot an hour its the same as the houses rake at a 3 - 6 game. I was just wondering if my first experienece at the "Portland Player Club" was a typical of the standard day there ...

First, Will is the owner. Any concerns about ANYTHING should be brought to his attention if your not sure talking to a dealer or any one of the repeat volunteers would help.

Cheating goes on everywhere, every one would thank you for bring up any instance of cheating that u can think of AS IT IS HAPPENING, that way it can be handled accordingly.

If there is a problem with the dealer, again, bring this to the owners attention in a discreet manner, and it will be handled.

Tournaments starting at 7, normally start about 715. Not much i can say on this. Stuff happens.

People on cell phones and non english moments, again bring this to the dealer, (or Will's ) attention. He is a buisness man, and will take the nessisary steps to keep players happy.
